After making up his mind to go see the place for himself, our main character embarks on a journey through less-traveled lands of vast desert and grassy plains. When he arrives, there is nothing, just like Google Maps showed him. But then, he is overtaken by a strange feeling and passes out.
Upon waking up, the barren landscape has been replaced with a massive fortified base. Is he even in the same place? The same instance of reality?
Either way, he's gotta get in somehow.
lyrics
And so I drive
Drive towards my fate
Is this the path of destiny?
Or did I just take the bait?
As I drive through the desert
I hear it call my name
Not a single soul in sight
As I anxiously make my way
My GPS says I've arrived
But there's nothing I can see
I feel a static charge
And then I'm put to sleep
When I come to I see it
Surrounded by a great, big wall
I must find my way inside
If there's any way at all.
This is an absolute rhythmic mayhem, not categorizable in any precise genre. The industrial feeling is to be perceived across all tracks but the emphasis on the rhythm section is consistently impressive. Signs contains a tropic main melodic synth line that evolves and dissolves throughout the track, so that the tropos cannot be recognized anymore Anto Rom aka Kandinsky Noir
This is an album that I always want to play through from start to finish. Each track is distinct with its own combination of harsh vocals and driving beat creating an atmosphere of inevitability - the music compels you keep listening, to keep moving forward, to hear how the track and the album end.
