Our guy is in.
Strange.
There doesn't seem to be any personnel present.
What is this place?
Drifting down hallways that all look the same, flanked with locked doors, he finds a door that catches his attention.
22 again. This door's indicator is green. Is it not locked like the others?
Nope!
He steps in to see what he can find.
Soon he is met with another strange feeling.
This time, instead of passing out, he receives visions of other worlds, of official-looking men and women in uniforms, of technologies the rest of the world won't see for another thousand years or more.
Meanwhile, the lack of personnel is only superficial. He is being watched, and very closely. They are being told this intruder is not to be engaged.
After the info dump, he catches his breath while leaning on a large tank in the lab. Getting back up, he looks into the tank's strange green liquid to see what's in there. What he sees terrifies him.
In the tank is what appears to be a clone of himself.
He makes a split decision to gtfo.
lyrics
Doors unlock for me
As if to welcome me inside
Abandoned hallways
Not a single guard in sight
This door's different
It's marked with a 22
I step on in to look
And see if I can find a clue
The air feels charged
A shiver down my spine
A series of images
Flashes through my mind
That's when I see it
I tremble as I meet its eyes
The last face
I expected to see here was mine!
This is an absolute rhythmic mayhem, not categorizable in any precise genre. The industrial feeling is to be perceived across all tracks but the emphasis on the rhythm section is consistently impressive. Signs contains a tropic main melodic synth line that evolves and dissolves throughout the track, so that the tropos cannot be recognized anymore Anto Rom aka Kandinsky Noir
This is an album that I always want to play through from start to finish. Each track is distinct with its own combination of harsh vocals and driving beat creating an atmosphere of inevitability - the music compels you keep listening, to keep moving forward, to hear how the track and the album end.
